On the occasion of “World Hepatitis Day”, department of medicine organized a public awareness program in the outpatient department of the hospital on 28th July, 2023, where a team of postgraduates and faculties not only imparted their knowledge about the various aspects of the disease like causes, types, symptoms, complication and most importantly the prevention but also had an active interactive session with the patients present in the medicine OPD who were benefitted through the program.
A CME on “Liver diseases” was organized by the department of medicine on 17th August 2023 in the MEU hall of Swarna Jayanti Auditorium, L.H.M.C. which was graced by the faculties of all the departments along with Dr. Satender Pal Singh, Assistant professor, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences who is an eminent and dynamic personality in the field of liver diseases. Post graduate residents attended the CME and ceased the opportunity to extract key points about the topic from the valuable lectures.
Department of Medicine organized a guest lecture on 12th August 2023 by Prof. Dr. Ranjan Gupta, AIIMS Delhi upon management of Rheumotological disorders which was attended by faculty and resident of Medicine & Orthopedic.
Post graduate students Dr. Sharique and Dr. Preeti from the department under the guidance of Dr. Ghanshyam Pangtey, Director professor (Medicine) & I/c Rheumatology clinic L.H.M.C. presented an interesting case in the monthly clinical meeting of Delhi Rheumatology Association which was held in India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 6th September, 2023 in presence of distinguished visionaries in the field of rheumatology in the city.
